Reconditioning includes furnishing and installing, as required, new ribbons, cones, coils and gaskets, replacing minor hardware, rejuvenating magnets, reshaping and removing dents from drawn metal parts, restoring finish, testing, and certifying performance to be within original specifications.  Prices for replacing unrepairable or broken castings, magnets, forks, cables and other major mechanical components will be quoted separately after inspection.

Upon request, microphones will be inspected, tested and performance-certified for a nominal bench fee.  If reconditioning of out-of-spec microphones is authorized before they are returned, this fee will be credited towards the reconditioning charge.
